I have moved on to an boat with eco-friendly modifications. It was build by Brian Wolfe. The eco-friendly additions include a windmill for power, solar panels and composting toilet. Much of the boat was built from scavenged wood and reused wood, especially in the interior. The fireplace does run on propane but there is space heaters that can run off the sustainable power sources as well. The boat stays really warm. I have been on board for about 1.5 months and love it. Its totally spacious and comfortable for a small family. The curtins and furniture are either thrift store finds or made with hemp natural fabrics. What a great way to lower your eco-footprint!
